Birth of the The Brew-Thusiast

For most of my life I really thought I knew what beer was all about. You see it in most establishments. The same Red, Blue, Grey, and Green tap handles. I had tried them all and they were okay. For me beer was something that was always there, but I never knew what it was to Enjoy a beer. That was until a friend of mine took me to a brewery a few years ago. I was excited to go, though I wondered how good the beer at this little local brewery was going to be. The brewery was the Riverhorse Brewery in Lambertville, NJ. It is small and the tour was quick, but as my friend and I sat down to sample some of their brews on tap my palate woke up and my mind quickly forgot all that I thought I had known of beer. It hit me that beer is anything the brewer can imagine. It was that day I enjoyed a beer with a friend, the way beer should be enjoyed.
Now, through this blog I will be sharing my adventures through craft beer. Feel free to comment on any posts, and suggest any brews you have enjoyed or think I may enjoy! Here’s to Good Beers!
