Samuel Adams “White Christmas”

White Christmas      ‘Tis the season for holiday gatherings and parties. Everyone is getting into the Christmas Spirit, and the right beer helps too! There is a myriad of complex, dark, roasty, spiced and oak aged Christmas holiday beers to choose from nowadays. However, sometimes holiday parties and gatherings call for a less complex beer. I really want something that everybody can just enjoy and not really think I have to think about dissect too much. A cup of Christmas Cheer with a relatively moderate .abv seems most appropriate… Here’s a six-pack that fits the bill.
 Samuel AdamsWhite Christmas” pours a golden straw color with a thick, snow white head. The aroma is sweet with caramel and spicy with clove and a hint of coriander. The taste delivers light cinnamon, nutmeg and citrus. The finish is gives off a bit of ginger and orange peel     . The 5.8% abv is barely noticeable, making this brew very drinkable. Nothing too crazy or complex. Just a flavorful and refreshing beer that should pair with a holiday gathering of friends and family, or a hearty holiday feast! Here’s to Good Beers!
